Its a Technological writer's point of view who was going to buy AppleCare+ at an Apple Store, but passed the new Microsoft Store built next to it!
He went in to try the new Surface tablet, and here's the last para he wrote regarding the experience-

"it’s not for me at all. Not even for testing, experimenting, or curiosity. It feels too much like using a Windows PC, which was exactly Microsoft’s intention, and it will appeal to people who want that. But that’s a world I fled 8 years ago with no intention of returning."

The Evolution of the Web

The web today is a growing universe of interlinked web pages and web apps, teeming with videos, photos and interactive content. What the average user doesn't see is the interplay of web technologies and browsers that makes all this possible.
Over time, web technologies have evolved to give web developers the ability to create new generations of useful and immersive web experiences. Today's web is a result of the ongoing efforts of an open web community that helps define these web technologies, like HTML5, CSS3 and WebGL, and ensure that they're supported in all web browsers.
The colour bands in this visualisation represent the interaction between web technologies and browsers, which brings to life the many powerful web apps that we use daily.

The internet map: Websites illustrated according to traffic and user activity

Internet Map
Internet Map
Well, productivity, you had a good run. But unfortunately for everyone with actual stuff to do today, a fantastic time waster has appeared on the web, and it threatens to turn everyone into mindless page surfers for eternity. It's called The Internet Map, and it just might be the best tool yet for finding sites you've never even heard of.
The map is comprised of the top 350,000 websites from around the world, organized into groups based on country and genre. The more popular a site is, the larger its dot will be. As you can imagine, heavyweights like Google, Yahoo, and Facebook have some mighty large real estate on the map, but the seemingly endless smaller dots are a treat to explore. You can even search the map for a specific website, and then browse its virtual neighborhood to find other sites you may enjoy.
The map uses a pretty advanced algorithm to determine the placement of each site, and its creator — a Russian man named Ruslan Enikeev — has been working on the map as a non-commercial labor of love. You can check out the map, and even donate some cash to keep the servers up and running, at The Internet Map website.
